DJÜ
"Little Big Djü" is a sea monster, a flower, a unicorn, an hymn to life and death. The fisrt album "Last Leaf Left" is this simple expression , sometimes cold, warm, caressing or violent as the wind moves leaves and trees.
The group was born 1 year ago with the meeting of Djü and Fred. Djü grew up in South pacific where he got his name coming from The japanese positive monster and the evident impossibility of people to pronounce his real name. After few years of fishing round the coast he discovered music making his first one string guitar with a part of his fishnet, and came back to to his fisrt Orpheus love: singing.
After a short boxing career, and a hard work as a fashion model, Fred began to work on music, with a machine and others mecanical instruments. The first project is DJ Smile (DJÜ) with djü. One day, on stage, the machine broke and they decided to play with mecanical instruments. That's how the titles emerged.
"Little Big Djü" est un concept plus qu'une personne. Né de la rencontre de Djü et Fred autour de la création de l'album "Last Leaf Left", le groupe est désormais composé de Gaessy et Ju sur scène.
