The Biography of Melody Marshals.
1 In the beginning there was nothing, there was silence.
2 A group of young males sat down and decided to create a rock n roll band, and so the spirit of Melody Marshals was hovering over the waters. 3 One of them said: Let there be sound, and there was sound. 4 They heard the sound, separated it from the silence and called it music. Melody Marshals saw that it was good. 5 There was a lot of jamming - in the beginning.
6 In the first period there was a lot of noise, banging, shouting and swearing . 7 One of them said: Let us all play the same song and make new songs together. And it was so. 8 There was writing, testing, rewriting and harmonizing- the first period.
9 In the second period, the band began to tire. 10 Some made excuses like I can..t make it to rehearsal today, I have to be with my girlfriend today and I..m moving to another city. 11 One of them said: Let..s fire some of the bandmembers, and get some better ones. 12 And so it was done, and Melody Marshals saw that it was good the second period.
13 In the third period they had written a lot of songs and was wondering what to do with them. 14 One of them said: Let..s play in public. 15 They phoned, wrote and talked to a bunch of people, and played at some local venues in their home town, Stavanger. They called it concerts. 16 They played, people came and newspapers wrote. People saw that they were good. 17 There was a lot of playing, coming and writing- the third period.
18 In the fourth period they were playing, writing and traveling. But there was no compact discs to spread around the world. 19 One of them said: Let..s go in the studio and record something. And so they did. 20 They called it demos and they saw that some of it was good and some of it not so good (lets just say that takes a while to be great in the studio). 21 But the songs were good and the live shows were superb. Melody Marshals became a hell of a good band. They sent the demos to important people. 22 And so there was more gigs, plays on the radio and public attention. Melody Marshals (were damn proud of themselves and) saw that is was good- the fourth period.
23 In the fifth period the band had gotten more experienced and thought their songs was better than ever. 24 One of them said: Lets record our first album. So they searched for a producer to join them. 25 The band met with a man named Inge Riska, and Melody Marshals saw that he was good- the fifth period.
26 Now, in the sixth period the band is working, writing, playing, noising, banging, promoting, booking, drinking, shouting, arguing and rehearsing, for the upcoming recording sessions in September 2006. 27 It will be created by Melody Marshals, in the image of Melody Marshals. 28 And you know it will be good- the sixth period.
