Giggiddy Giggiddy!!!

About Me

I'm a Michigan native transplanted to Arizona in 2001. I'm pretty laid back and open to anything that doesn't involve leaping from high altitudes. My favorite pastime is the Society for Creative Anachronism(www.sca.org)- medieval re-creation. It's a great escape from the hassles of the mundane world where I can soak in a totally different atmosphere. I enjoy playing hand drums(mainly Djembe), cooking, trying new restaurants(or old favorites), watching movies, singing karaoke, going to concerts, hockey games, and spontaneous, intelligent/philosophical/thought-provoking conversation. I studied World History in college, and I enjoy reading about ancient Roman and Medieval European history in particular. I'm planning on going to culinary school once the last of my debts are paid off in about a year(2009).
I brew mead a few times a year, which is the drink of the gods! It's well worth the year-long wait before it's ready to drink! I also love good home-brewed beer and microbreweries, and I'm getting into brewing my own beer very soon. I love going to parties and just being around friends. I'm not much into dance clubs - I prefer a dive bar with a good band, or karaoke bar where I can sing. I'm really into music and I sort of started a small collection of DVD concert videos. Anything else....just ask...or it might come up in conversation! I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
