About Me

Restoring and personalising my 1931 Pacific Northwest stucco bungalow. :) Only one room left in the house with carpet in it -- refinishing the original wood floors (some look like fir; some oak) in the hallway right now.
Always doing something crafty -- spinning wool, knit/crochet, photography, painting, collage, etc. Also enjoy doing lots of research -- whether it be about modern things I'd like to understand, medieval history, family history (genealogy), or something else that's grabbed my attention at the moment. Love birdwatching - mostly in my back yard! Always learning new songs... best sung around a campfire late at night.
Don't forget Beekeeping! Have our very own hive in the backyard, learning more about them all the time. :)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Don't have a whole lot of free time, but it's nice to chat once in a while with like-minded people. Open-minded and still interested in life!!

Séan McCann, Alan Doyle, Bob Hallett... I've seen you up-close, but not yet personal. *wink* Come back to Victoria/Vancouver/Seattle soon! :)
...We'll see -- I'm headed to Ships & Dip in Feb. '09!...
