Hiking, yoga, local music, my dog and cat. I'm a bit of a news-whore and always read the paper online while at work. Of course, I love comedy! Anything about nature just completely fascinates me. I love tattoos and piercings (duh), as long as they're quality tattoos and not some dumb pot leaf over your heart. *shudder* I have a "thing" for Steve Madden shoes. I have so many purses, there are some I've never used. I shop at thrift stores because I believe in recycling. I collect Homies. I have a shoebox with over 300 of them. I paint, mostly abstract stuff. Looking at some of my art, you can feel what I was feeling, even if what you're seeing doesn't make much sense. *shrug* That's what art is about, right?

Metallica (OLD SCHOOL), Black Flag, Jane’s Addiction, Madonna, Beastie Boys, Primus, Snoop, Ice Cube, Ice T, Evanescence, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Ani Difranco, Macy Gray, Sex Pistols, PIL, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bif Naked, Eminem, Dresden Dolls, Poe, Amy Winehouse, Neko Case, KMFDM, Deftones, Forgotten Rebels, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Pigface, P J Harvey, Garbage, Cypress Hill, Lords of Acid, The Descendents, Neil Diamond, The Prodigy, Skinny Puppy, Olivia Newton John, Rob Zombie, a lot of stuff that doesn’t go together but they don’t seem to fight on the shelves.

My very favorite book of all time is "The Secret History" by Donna Tartt. She wrote the whole book on a yellow legal pad with a pencil. How cool is that?! I'm always in the middle of a couple books at a time. It's the ADD in me. I read some self-help stuff, trashy vampire novels (I love Laurel K Hamilton!), Tom Robbins, just about anything that catches my interest.
