(www.chimphaven.org)...Chimp Haven is a retirement community for chimpanzees who have been used for lab research, for space programs, for entertainment purposes, etc., and have “outlived their usefulness†in those areas. Whether you are against using chimps for these purposes or not, please realize that we do at least owe them this much -- a haven to retire to -- for all we’ve asked (demanded!) of them before.

I love being with people I relate to & feel comfortable with, but also enjoy being alone. I love the beauty of old items because you can almost feel the history. Also love things from nature and wonderful textures. I am a Christian and believe that God is found in everyone if you look for him there. That the best gift you can give anyone is your caring, nonjudgmental, unconditional love – a love that accepts them as they are without trying to change them and without any agendas of your own. I’m not really talking romance here, but caring relationships with friends, family, and those you just feel drawn to. My “babies†are a quaker (Shamrock) & a cockatiel (Shyanne).
