About Me

We're All Connected
To destroy is simple, To create is Divine, To preserve is to capture the essence of our existence. We don’t know what to do because it is overwhelming, Because it is overwhelming we do not ask. But we do think about it, You and I. If you cut down the last tree for fire today, You will be cold tomorrow, You will be cold the next day, And the day following, Until you devise a new way to keep warm. And when you do, then you will wish that you had not cut down the last tree, You will wish that you had not eaten the last fish. When you discover that us humans are all that is left, Outside of the few animals we domesticate, You will find this world a shrinking sphere, No longer worth discovering. And what is it to discover, If we are only to exploit what we find. We must look inside ourselves if we are to find meaning, And we must pull it out from the layers of life that hold it in. When that meaning comes forth from within, We realize the beings that we are, And who we have always wanted to become. When you become that which you want to be, You find that you already are and always have been, And it is the first day you stop destroying that part of all life, Which surrounds you. First we will stop corrupting ourselves, And then we will start preserving the beauty that is our world, But how can beauty be preserved when the very essence of beauty is transience you may ask, But there is no contradiction here, For when we destroy life, We have ended the cycle of regeneration, And that transience is no longer able to continue, Only silence and desolation, and noises we make, But we are not all that speak, We are not all that defines beauty, So, Let our ears hear, Our eyes see, Our hands feel, Our noses breathe in, Our tongues taste, All at once, When they do, When we do, We will know what it is to be alive, When we do, We may know what it is for others to be alive, And when we do we may start to preserve that life. We are taught it is wrong to steal. We do not create from that which we do not already have, So then we must not destroy, It is not our right, It is our right and our distinct privilege to preserve, Our time here is short, I do not know why we exist, But because I do, it is my intention to make the most of this existence, Nothing we do is small, Nothing we do is small, Let us not take for granted our actions, But let us exalt in them, Let us not be weak, For we must be strong, If we are to defend those which cannot defend themselves, I am alive, I am thankful for that, As a human I will live this life, To preserve it not just for man and woman after us, But for all life, To know this life is to try to understand, Not to understand the feeding and breeding cycles of a species only, But the harmony of our life in unison. It is greater than us. We must respect it.

My Interests

Your interests do not have to be mine, and my interests do not have to be yours. I accept you. It is the first step to connecting and greater awareness. What would you like to be right now? Where would you like to be right now? These things can always change. There are no rules, but the ones we make, and, of course, the ones that dictate our survival and existence. Give yourself the freedom to think and feel without boundaries and you will find the path you are to take. When you find your path through unclouded eyes you will see that it converges with others. Beyond that, you will find connections to occurrences in this world which may have once seemed counterintuitive. Express yourself and celebrate the expression of all life on this Earth. If anything, it will be what saves us.

I'd like to meet:

You.
