Celebrating Diversity Art Project

Please join this peaceful mission of celebrating humankind

About Me

The idea is to promote artists and art in general, alongside attempting to curb hostility that is brought about by ignorance, fear, hatred and other influences including armed conflict and government immigration policies.

It is a reaction against: racism, facism, homophobia, sexism, hostility towards the disabled in all forms. Any artwork that focuses on these topics in particular are of interest. However, those that look at more specific aspects, deal with broader issues or are merely anti-war or pro-peace are required.

Basically we are interested in anything that is positive and is attempting to reduce negativity in today's world.

We hope that the project will encompass an exhibition at a significant time and location and it is intended for free-of-charge public viewing. Profit making is not something that we are involved in.

Musicians and poets and other creatives types are encouraged to get involved as well. Please feel free to comment, support or join this myspace community.

We are planning our first event this year, an exhibition of works by little known artists that addresses some of the issues mentioned above. We'd like to hear from you if you support our cause, would like to be involved, know of people who could help but don't have a myspace page and any comments or suggestions are more than welcome.

Currently the project is being organised and maintained by the founder, an individual with a Masters from the London School of Economics and interest in social cohesion. You can check her out HERE .
