Audit

hmmmmmmm, well I started drumming when i was 12 years old, but before that i had played piano and even the mighty mighty baritone, which i won an award for, my only music award...then came the day when i hopped into the back door of some god awful rave and found myself loving it. it was called nebula or something spacey like that. I remember giving dj's soooo much, way too much credit, i thought they were mixing the drums on one vinyl and the rest of the song on the other, therefore i thought it was really amazing. i would soon find out however that they were merely playing other peoples songs and that was it. So i really got into hip hop and jungle, the 4/4 beats were too much for me and it slowly moved into a loving for midtempo funk breaks and now onto heavy bassline breaks and hip hop. I learned about hip and 1200's from this local hip hop dude rod who i haven't talked to in years, but he gave me my initial schooling in the ways of vinyl and hip hop.i remember getting addicted to buying vinyl, before this i had purchased the odd CD of bands, nirvana, beattles, smashing pumpkins...but now i was loving going and buying these records. I started going at least once a week. I had no idea what i was buying but some of those first tracks I still play. Now I have been dj'ing 7 years and producing for 3 years. The tunes are strating to come out more evolved than the last one and it's exciting. sometimes i hit ruts or blocks, but that is generally when i am trying too hard to make uber tunes. I am mainly doing remixing and writing breaks and bass heavy hip hop beats!!!
