Mama Miche

Where to start - well my name is Miche (meesha) but most people call me Mama or Miche (meesh). I am a super mom, a super friend, a super daughter, a super DJ, a super promoter, a super "secret" agent, a super hero and super in general I put the "er" in sup... I have DJ'd since 1999 stemming largely from a breakbeat background but my styles are broad. Depending on where I am DJing you can hear anything from hip hop to house, funky mid-tempo breaks and mash ups to bass heavy dancefloor stormers of house, techno and breaks. Did I mention I love electro? In addition to DJing I have promoted club events for over 6 years under the name Mother's Cupboard and have been hostess to the biggest, baddest and bestest in breaks and house music. I run an international DJ rescue service called Mother's Cupboard and if you heard of Soccer Mom - well that's me - Load up cuz we got places to go, people to see and parties to rock! I live in Calgary Alberta Canada originating from north of here and paved most of my way on the West Coast of BC in Victoria on beautiful Vancouver Island. I DJ solo & with fab friend Kenzie Clarke as Bitchin' - We have been hostesses to big and small talent from around the world and can drive 30 ft recreational vehicles like race cars. Mother's Cupboard is home Canadian Artist's Kenzie Clarke (Bitchin', Voyeur Voyeur) and The Smalltown DJ's (Bigfoot Records) as well as Australian Artist Nick Thayer (Revolver) when he is in good old Canadia.
