Composer/ Musician

About Me

My name is Sean L. McMorris. My entire life, all I’ve wanted to do is make music. It’s taken me forever to learn to play all the instruments on these tracks, and write music that moved me and would (hopefully) move other people, too. I’ve gigged with and backed other musicians for over 20 years. Though I still love doing that and collaborating with other people (I feel music is too precious not to share), I’m now ready to start focusing on my own vision. These tracks are just a very small example of what I have. Once the band and the CD are ready, there will DEFINITELY be much more.

The Weblslinger

I wrote this about 9 years ago, about fall of '99. I was starting to have too much (and then it became no fun at all), and this was one of the last things I wrote for about 6 years. I tried playi...

New Blood

Last year, I got really burnt out on the Atlanta scene and it's cast of characters. The same people, the same playing styles, same attitudes, etc., just got old. People might call back, they might lea...

Ponce

I wanted to create something that would be a great single for my otherwise not so radio friendly album. This is an exercise in one way, but also a soundtrack for the street it's named for. Drive betwe...

Angie

I've finally put up some new material after a hiatus of a few months. I had to rid myself of some bad elements and people that were just draining me and bringing me down. As I get older, I'm starting ...

Escape From Canton

This piece is almost an autobiography. Basically, this is my profile set to music. I've wanted to do something like this since I was 8 years old and heard "Journey Into The Secret Life of Plants" by S...

I've really been amazed at the response I've gotten from people from around the world over this track. Thank you, especially you Melody. OK, where were we? Oh yeah, this was another of the cuff experi...
