Spaceseed

Founded in 1988 in Atlanta Georgia by guitarist John Pack. The group spent a number of years "testing" ideas ( including a man in a gorilla costume ) and performing live. Breaking onto the international scene in 2003 the group joined forces with forces with Charter (Hawkwind/Inner City Unit) member Nik Turner. With the release of it’s debut disc "Future Cities Of The Past" ( soon to be reissued ). In 2004 Mark Reiser became the official band artist. After two tours with Turner, Brian Fowler joined the group and the group found itself paired with another former Hawkwind alumnist, synth legend Harvey Bainbridge who came into the fold in 2005. At which time the group recorded " The Empire Of Night " the disc which has proved thus far to be the groups calling card. Featuring a near demented performance by Harvey Bainbridge, a cameo by Bob Harvey and large chunk of lyrics by Astro AL.The disc also featured the first studio appearance by long time member of the groups touring unit John Stanton. Spaceseed has completed 2 U.S. Tours w/ Bainbridge. And recorded a series of discs. The recently released limited edition Assault Transmission The Official Boootleg was the first disc to include Michael Thomas Roe(Kluster)on synths. Currently the group is gearing up for their latest recording project " Architects Of Twilight ". Due for release in 2008. It will also feature appearances by Harvey Bainbridge ( Hawkwind/Almon Mulo Band) Bridget Wishart (Hippy Slags/Hawkwind/Spirits Burning) Steve Hayes (Secret Saucer/Ultra violet Rays) and Bob Harvey( Jefferson Airplane).Joshua Sattler(Doubledrive) will play bass.
