Without a doubt,Roger Waters. He is one of the most profound songwriters in music today. I've seen Roger in concert twice, once with Floyd's 1977 Animals / Wish You Were Here tour in Louisville, and again in Nashville for the 2000 In The Flesh tour. Truly a brilliant artist. I would also be honored to meet David Gilmour. David deserves just as much credit as Roger for his contributions to Pink Floyd. His writing skills and producing were a very integral part in their recordings. Rick Wright would be another interesting person to meet. Here's someone else who deserves just as much credit in the creation of Pink Floyd's music. Us And Them, just to mention one song, is a brilliant composition. No mention of Floyd would be complete without paying respect to another I'd like to meet,Nick Mason. Nick's drumming has always been very creative and executed with precision. Two good examples are Time and Money. Truly four gifted individuals who created a unique sound that has inspired other musicians and influenced generations. Echoes, one of my favorites,is a timeless masterpiece. I must make reference to Alan Parsons. His contributions to DSOTM must be noted. The success of this album is partly due to his extraordinary engineering skills. A masterpiece of sonic brilliance. This is off the subject of music, but someone else I'd like to meet is Clint Eastwood. His movies have always been well crafted and entertaining. From his start with Sergio Leone to his own productions,a truly gifted individual. Oh,and Heather Locklear. Need I say more?
