If it works you check to see if it has a charge. if it does not have a charge, you try to put a charge on it. If the charge holds then you put the battery in a cell and the current flows through the circuit until it is empty and therefore "discharged"We are batteries, We are driving down the road and we get pulled over by a cop. First he checks us out to find out if we work. Then he checks to see if we have a charge on us. Now if we work but we don't have a charge, he puts one on us, if the charge holds then we get put in a cell until our current-see flows through the circuit court. When we are comepletely drained then we get discharged until we are working again.
