About Me

http://www.tribehollywood.com/Motor_DisplayProfile?id=202954 7891 "The thing that's important to know is you never know. You're always sort of feeling your way."(photographer Diane Arbus). I'm a Graduate student, freelance journalist/writer/researcher and novelist, living in The Horse Capital of the world. My current novel-in-the-works is tale of reincarnation (a ghost story)called SUPERSTAR PASSAGE (and can be read in my BLOG as I complete). The book concerns the "passage" of the greatest female vocalist EVER--the 1970's "Queen of Pop"--Karen Carpenter. The novel reflects extensive research on subjects like the soul, reincarnation, astral projection, life-extension, ghosts, the Maya (year 2012--end of their calendar), Walk-ins, soul-fragmentation, the existence of time (or not), the Pleiades star system, autism, and the paranormal and "psuedo sciences." The first novel, BOMBASTIC GADFLIES (dedicated to Karen Carpenter) takes place in the heart of THE BLUEGRASS--with a thoroughbred-industry back-drop. The novel concerns a U.S. Kentucky Republican congressman who ran for governor--to take (free and clear) $700-thousand in PAC money (more than ANY congressman in history): a story based "loosely" on my life and those around me growing up. "Anorexic politics" reflects the order of the day:

A political menu starving for campaign-finance reform: the congressman's (and others') diet of deceit and greed--serving anorexic politics in Kentucky's governor's race: a primary victory by forking over the most massive helpings of money--the key ingredient. Not fit to consume or eat: how Kentuckians were seeing the politics served to them. (Dishing out negative advertising sickened voters.) Past front-stretch (back-stretch) camera-man for a live horse-racing production (Charlson Broadcast Technologies)--at the city's standardbred track (The Red Mile): simulcast to racetracks throughout the country.

Enrolled: four Graduate programs. Currently, I am a Graduate student at the University of Phoenix working on a Master's Degree in Business Management (27 hours so far). In the mid-1990's I tutored dozens of athletes (a half-dozen sports)--at the U.K. Athletics Association; members of two NCAA basketball championship teams. LISTED: 26th Ed. I am a classically trained pianist. I like to sing. Recently, I have re-discovered Karen Carpenter--and The Carpenters; and obsessed with Karen. (Basically, I enjoy music, PERIOD--and grew up on the rock'n'roll concert scene.)

Writing and music. Karen Carpenter is at the center of my music collection. I really dig Aimee Mann's music (her resemblance to Karen Carpenter). ....Also, I like the Mamas and Papas, Michael Buble. Music Video: Secret by (Madonna)

.. I am a vegetarian (except turkey). I live on Pepsi. Chocolate is king. I walk most everywhere.Basically (unless it is country) I can "fit-in" most music scenes (I even went through a Grateful Dead phase in the 1990's--and it was Jerry all the time!) Besides music I really get into ANYTHING related to the supernantural or paranormal.
