About Me

I recently set up BUCKEYE FILMS to develop innovative, high quality drama and music videos. My aim is to deliver the best work possible to enhance your artists' material - in an increasingly competitive market - and to do so on time and on budget.
We keep prices affordable by delivering the project "in house" from pitch to delivery. Editing (including HiDef), cgi, motion graphics (using After Effects 6.5 Pro and Motion) compositing and grading can all be completed at Buckeye Films. Should the need arise, complex high-end cgi elements can be out-sourced to Streetmonkey facility house ( www.streetmonkey.tv ). Streetmonkey undertook the difficult cgi and compositing (involving handheld HiDef background plates) for us on "The Patrol", which stars Joe Estevez (Apocalypse Now). I wrote, directed and edited the film.
In addition to our in-house facilities, we have ready access to a fully appointed Panavision studio. Greenscreen material can be shot here. Belfast City Harbour airport provides flights anywhere in the UK and Ireland for the price of a night out. It's more cost effective for many bands to shoot in Ireland than in London, and we can travel anywhere to shoot on location as needed.
Above all, we want the process to be fun from beginning to end.

Below is the "THE PATROL", which I wrote, directed, edited and acted in. The film was produced by Micky O'Neill and Michelle Walsh of www.spotontv.net and postproduction cgi was delivered by www.streetmonkey.tv. "THE PATROL" was financed through the Northern Ireland Film and Television Commission. It stars JOE ESTEVEZ (Apocalypse Now) as a tough marine hunting for Al Qaeda in a tiny Irish village, just a few years from now. A very black comedy! The movie is currently being entered for international film festivals. Enjoy - and do let me know what you think. Please post the movie and help get the word out. This is a not-for -profit film. I just want to protest against the neo-con agenda, and hopefully entertain at the same time.
