Simply put, I'm a singer/songwriter seeking opportunities to use my God-given talent...whether it be jingles, demos, live, studio, charity events, weddings, writing for other artists, etc. I don't have drama and I don't do drugs or drink. I'm just about music, quality music. Currently working on a solo project but I'm always ready to collaborate...just let me know! ..If the band can’t come, if the cd player isn’t working…the show goes on. Acapella is not a problem for Andrea. This dynamic singer/songwriter brings crystal clear melodies and the art of true singing back to the forefront. This Sacramento native has been living in Los Angeles since 2000 all the while, creating a following and a respectable name for herself. In an industry where many people are out for themselves or in it just for the money, Andrea maintains her integrity, welcomes collaborations, enjoys meeting other talented artists and immerses herself in her God-given talent. Starving artist she is not. Andrea earned a B.S. in Psychology at Morgan State University where she sang with their incredible choir. She also holds a Master’s in Social Work from Cal State University, LA where she continued to hone her musical talents by performing for numerous campus events. She credits God, her grandmother, parents, brother, choir directors, and host of amazingly talented singers as her influences. Her vocal coach, Romeo Johnson, has also been an instrumental part of taking Andrea’s vocal performance to the next level. You can find her singing with her choir, One Voice, at Faithful Central Bible Church, and solo or backing other artists at venues like BB Kings, Temple Bar, and House of Blues. That could mean performing, writing, behind the scenes as a PRO TOOLS certified operator. She has a humble spirit and is just thankful for the gift of music.
