From the age of 4, I knew that I would work as an entertainer. I have produced 3 films, directed one (as well as a number of theatrical plays), consulted on many others, and acted in scores of plays, episodic television, television commercials, industrials, voice-overs, independent film and studio films. My earliest influences were Jack Lemmon, Sidney Portier, Sean Connery & Peter Sellers.....followed later by the underrated Glynn Turman, Calvin Lockhart and many others. I started acting fairly late in life; having started my professional career as a sales and ad executive......LOOK FOR CARL IN 2008 in the award winning prison drama, "THE MANNSFIELD 12" (www.myspace/m12themovie.com) which stars a SLEW of GREAT BROTHAS and is directed by the great CRAIG ROSS, JR! The MANNSFIELD 12 TRAILER is ON THIS PAGE in MY FAVORITE MOVIES! Look to your LEFT, then down. It's the YouTube monitor.!!! Also, look for Carl in the romantic comedy, "DIVINE INTERVENTION", directed by VAN ELDER which stars Wesley Jonathan, Jaszmin Lewis, James Avery, Laz Alonzo, Roz Ryan, Luenell, Cynda Williams and Shang Forbes (SEE MOVIE TEASER HERE) and in the HBO, MIKE EPPS PILOT, "THE UNSUCCESSFUL THUG". The pilot wasn't picked up, but I had a ball with EPPS.Carl is probably best known as the brother screaming as the sound drops out in the first CINGULAR 'dropped call' spot.
