I grew up in Maryland as the middle child of three daughters in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. I graduated from Seneca Valley High School where I became their first African-American homecoming queen. I went on to earn a B.S. in broadcast journalsim and a minor in speech communications from Syracuse University in New York. After graduating, from Syracuse (where I was very, very cold!) I worked in the news industry with the MacNeil/ Lehrer NewsHour a year before moving to Los Angeles to pursue my long-time childhood dream of being an actress. I’ve been blessed to have worked in a number of areas in this business: commercials, TV, film, voice-over work, theater and print. My relationship with the Lord has sustained me in a very challenging business and I am truly grateful!
