I am blessed to have nurtured and supported quite a few Comics on the rise back then and got alot of support and encouragement in return to pursue my own career in writing and filmmaking. My heart and home is always gonna be with Comedians - (although I'd never have the balls to get up on stage Jeffery Ross told me I had the comedic timing of the Gods tee hee hee) we were all in the *geek clubs* or worse growing up and had to turn that isht around and make pain look hilariously funny... like we were in on the joke that was on us. My best friend Shelley (I am squeezing her in the picture above) and I made this little 34 minute sweetheart for a mere $2,500. and a few 99 cent menu's around town.Near Mrs. ran in 7 film festivals including Pan African Los Angeles & Atlanta, The Hollywood Black Film Festival, AZ Black Film Showcase, S.E.
