Grammy Certificate Award Recipient, Arranger, Producer and Songwriter “Rob Diggy”, has scored many Independent Films over the last decade; he has also produced and arranged many songs for Recording Artists.As a Film Scorer, Diggy has been quite successful and accredits his success to two of his well-known mentors, Spike Lee and Quincy Jones; he says,” these men have had a great impact on his life by what they have contributed to the Film and Entertainment Industry over the years. Rob Diggy, often called “The Sixth Man of Music”, has been compared to phenomenal Composer’s and Producer’s like Terrence Blanchard, Quincy Jones, and Danny Elfman.This multi-talented, fast rising “Producer of the Arts”, continues to concentrate more with the post-production (Scoring) of films because of the emergence of influential African Americans in this industry; Diggy feels that this is his calling and says “taking advantage of every opportunity has been key to staying hungry for great projects in the future”. When Beyonce released her Multi-Platinum “Dangerously In Love” album in 2004, it featured the smash hit “Crazy In Love”, which earned Diggy a Grammy for his Outstanding Keyboard Arrangement and Musicianship for the remix. Diggy also recognizes that much of his success as an Arranger and a musician comes from another mentor and long time friend, Morris Hayes (Keyboard player for the famed artist “Prince”). Blige, George Clinton, Keith Sweat, Destiny’s Child, Omarion, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Roland, Jenifer Hudson and most recently, a collaborated song entitled “Beautiful Liar” by Beyonce Knowles and Shakira (the remix).Educational Background & Experience: Diggy has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech and Drama with a Concentration in Musical Theater and Communication from the University of Arkansas; he is also a Producer and Instructor.
