Ken Brooks

Who is Ken Brooks?Ken Brooks is an aspiring singer, songwriter, and business man. Since performing at the age of 5 years old, Ken new he wanted to be in the music industry. Like most artists, singing in the church was a vital platform which helped him excel in performing in front of an audience. He knew with God on his side he could do anything.At the age of 15, Ken started a group named “World Premiere” and wrote most of the material which they performed at various venues in the Los Angeles area. When Ken started college at Long Beach State, he began writing for up in coming artist and performing at nightclubs. Ken also attended Cal State Dominguez Hills as a music major and met some of the most talented artists and producers, such as Phillip Scott III, D’Anthony Forte, Dame Crawford, and Danny Grissett.Ken Brooks is the Founder and CEO of the Music Unity Expo which was held at the Long Beach Convention Center in 2006. Ken was able to acquire 97,000 sq. ft which was able house150 musicians with booths to display their music and four stages for 50 artist/bands from Southern California to perform at a three day venue. All genres of music were represented. Ken plans to have this Expo every year and in several states in the US. The next one will held in 2009.For 2008, Ken is working really hard as a songwriter and making sure that the Music Unity Expo in 2009 will be a successful new way for artists/musicians of all genres to meet and display their music. Ken is always looking for producers and singers to collaborate with.
