About Me

I finished writing my first book, A Stranger Dead, at age 19. It was published in 2003. Since then I have written and completed 9 more books, ranging from fiction to non-fiction to poetry.
In 2004 I created Coscom Entertainment, a publishing firm specializing in superhero and speculative fiction. Coscom Entertainment also has a small comic book division. ( www.coscomentertainment.com )
Known as an advocate for the independent press and self-publishing author, I believe it is there that the future of great literature lies, where authentic voices will be heard and where excellent reading will be born for years to come.

Axiom-man: Of Magic and Men Comic Book Available for Pre-order!
One night Gabriel Garrison was visited by a nameless messenger who bestowed upon him great power, a power intended for good. Once discovering what this power was and what it enabled him to do, Gabriel became Axiom-man, a symbol of hope in a city that had none.
For a time, people were going missing, without a sign or trace as to their whereabouts.
Then, for a time, they resurfaced, mutilated and broken, some with bizarre attachments surgically grafted onto their severed limbs.
One name has surfaced as to the architect of these twisted acts of violence: the Magic Man.
Axiom-man takes it upon himself to bring the Magic Man to justice, and uses the only bait he has to draw out this deadly maniac: himself.

My Interests

Reading, writing, superheroes and corresponding with famous personalities.

I'd like to meet:

Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, Stephen King, Patrick Stewart and, if he was still alive, Christopher Reeve.

Music:

Counting Crows, The Hip, and anything else loud.

Movies:

Forrest Gump, Superman I-IV, Lord of the Rings trilogy, American Movie, Batman Begins, Spider-man I-II

Television:

"Smallville," "Seinfeld" and that's about it. I don't watch much TV (maybe 3-4 hours a week).

Books:

Aside from my own, my favorites are "Eat @t Zero's" by W. Bill Czolgosz, "Batman: Knightfall" by Dennis O'Neil, "On Writing" by Stephen King, and pretty much every poem written by Dante Violet. My own works can be found at www.apfuchs.com

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, Superman and Christopher Reeve (for how he lived his life).
