I HATE MUSIC.

About Me

MORE BASS. MORE HUGS. LESS HATE.I taught myself to play guitar out of a Beatles book. I was a theater kid for awhile until around high school when I discovered that girls like good guitarists. I practiced. I began to independantly study music history, becoming particularly infatuated with Renaissance polyphony and Romantic piano. I also absorbed a lot of jazz. I've been in many bands including Gretna Green, Exploded, B.R.A.I.N, Stunt Vocabulary, Living Spoon, Jake Rowan Band, Charlie Van Stee Trio, and Free Grandma (the last four are current groups). I enjoy composition. I enjoy coffee and dogs. Currently I'm working on a solo album which I hope to release this fall. So far it has been a productive year. Enough about me. Tell me about yourself.

Mahler

Mahler is just the master of melody. The seventh symphony is probably my favorite. It's incredible to me that every section and every section within every section has just a gorgeous melody. These mel...
