AT/DT

Rock 4 The People, since 2001.

About Me

AT/DT
AT/DT is comprised of four individuals united in one common goal: to bring rock to the people. Since the band began performing out regularly in mid-2005 in venues throughout the Twin Cities, AT/DT has garnered much attention and acclaim for their high-energy rock concert performances; often shows are accompanied by a conceptual theme that pays tribute to any one random piece of popular culture, past or present.
Initially begun as a side-project, AT/DT has existed since 2001 when brothers Andrew Thomas (guitar) and David Thomas (drums) joined forces with Ben Jones (vocals) and Erik Pedersen (bass). The group recorded an EP, Rock 4 The People, released in 2002, and that same year shot an appearance in the Siege Perilous Films independent feature-length movie revisions.
Following a year-long hiatus, the band reformed in 2004 and began to write and record for a new full-length CD. Shortly thereafter, however, Pedersen left AT/DT to attend violin-making school (seriously). The three remaining members continued working and in 2005 extended an invitation to an old friend, DJ Sandau, to join up as bassist. Sandau made his debut with AT/DT at The Uptown Bar & Grill in July 2005 and has subsequently secured his brotherhood in the rock fraternity as the band has continued to perform, rehearse, write, and record.
AT/DT's long-awaited new full-length CD is in progress.
