JFK, Network, Sicko, The Life Aquatic and Lost in Translation are two of my favorites. It's A Wonderful life is hard to leave out. David Lynche's "The Straight Story" is a beautiful film. Would it be cliche to say "American Beauty"? Home Alone also rules. Tommy Boy. The Color Purple. The Godfather movies (even 3 has its moments).
Stories, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Weeds, Top Chef, Punk'd (Even though Ashton Kutcher is a bit hard to handle it's a funny show.) I don't watch tv unless I'm in a hotel room...so...I guess a watch a shit load of tv.
