Able to switch genres with definitive ease, and already boasting a host of production and recording credits unparalleled for an Australian in urban music, a broader recognition of Styalz's talents as he continues his push into the largest of all markets would now appear to be something of a formality.
Owing to a genuine musicianship and a wide-ranging appreciation of different musical influences, artists, and genres, Styalz continues to boast and pursue production credits across a multiplicity of genres, from hip-hop, through R&B and soul, to pop, and electro pop. He is equally comfortable within each space, to which his work to date attests.
Styalz Fuego’s international credits to date include tracks for Chamillionaire, Kelis, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Kool G Rap, Grafh and many more. In addition, Styalz is currently working alongside fellow Melbourne producer, Weapon X on various projects with Southern Smoke's DJ Smallz. Given recent local and international success, Styalz has also moved to found and direct the Affinity Music Group, a collective of artists, musicians, songwriters and business people, who aim to further develop musical talent of a comparable quality. Affinity Music was established in 2005.
Born as a true 80’s baby, it is the progressive sound of that era that strongly inspires Styalz’s production and in turn, gives the Affinity Music Group's its energy and unique swagger.
However, there is little question that the varied and intense musical apprenticeship of his formative years have also deeply informed his sound, which in turn has pioneered to a large extent the scene of an entire nation - a rare commodity indeed.
