From club bangers to songs that will touch your heart and your mind, aspiring artist, Ruben K*****, 19, also known as "Bravo", does it all. Born in Manhattan, NY, moving to Brazil for a year at the age of 8, then to South Florida (Palm Beach County), where he was raised; Bravo has seen a lot in his life that has helped his mentality expand, and grow up faster than most. In the first few minutes of speaking with him you can already sense the maturity in his heart filled words. While most kids in 6th grade were focused on girls, sports and parties, Bravo was introducing himself to what has grown to be his passion; music. Listening to Wu-Tang and opening doors of the hip-hop culture, knowing that this is what he one day wanted to succeed in. Since the beginning, Bravo has had the support of loyal family and friends, including musical companion, P-Gutta. Who since he has started, always made sure to keep Bravo on his feet, keeping him motivated and showing him new ways to make moves everyday. By the age of 15 he began writing his own lyrics and recording at a local studio, where he formed his first group, "Team Grimey" which consisted of 3 members; Bravo, P-Gutta and Fresh. Since 2002, they together developed four albums, each one outdoing the one before. Performing at clubs, festivals, and parties, the group grew to be very well known in their town and all over the internet. Selling c.d's, shirts and on going performances, their popularity grew more and more with each album release. Things seemed to be on their way up until, one member of the group took a turn for the worst, and in the process of trying to avoid the negativity of someone bringing them down, he was eliminated from the group, which left Bravo and P-Gutta as the reliable duo they have always been. Nonetheless, Bravo wouldn’t let that stop his music, the separation of "Team Grimey" only meant his opportunity to shine, as Bravo, the solo artist.
He has worked with many local artists who are also on the rise; including, Casely, J-Red, P-Gutta, Young Pat (Brother), Ms.Stephanie K. (Sister), S.Ko, Kyapi, L.E.S.G.O Ent. and many more. Currently working on his new solo album titled "The End & The New Beginning", you have yet to see the best of what Bravo has to in store. With his unique voice and creative flow incorporated into one, you can’t help but have his songs replaying themselves in your head all day. The new album will show how much he has grown, not only as a person but as an artist, with a variation of tracks; some that will have you dancing ready to party, and some that will let you into his real life experiences, where you can truly get a feel for his mentality. Attending S.A.E, musical institute of Miami, he also plans on getting into the business aspect of the music scene, covering all corners, and making his knowledge only that much greater.
With each lesson learned in his life, many chapters open and close, but one thing that has always been certain is his love and dedication for his music, letting each ending only help start a new beginning...
