City of Verses is a hip hop promotions label in Adelaide. Established in Sep 06 by Eldy, the idea was to help up and coming hip hop talent get some gigs and utilise their potential to help the scene grow. 1 year in and COV staged the successful Nurcha Fest on Nov 10 2007 which was an all ages 12 hour affair featuring 20 acts at Viva, which was the first of it's kind for local hip hop.
Nurcha Records has a very close alignment with COV as they have fathered most of the shows off the ground and were the reason COV started all together. Eldy and Shrekk have worked closely to bring down some of the countrys best interstate artists to SA as well as the entire Nurcha Records roster.
