Pimp-My-Profile.com - Build a SlideshowSince 1991 the Bay Area underground hip hop rapper "Black Book" has been a pioneer of conscious music. From doing shows in Paris, France to rockin' the mike with The Coup, Conscious Daughters, Special K, Humpty Hump aka Shock G, Mac and AK, Sean T and Mind Motion Pirate DJ's.

Black Book is working on a new project to awaken conscious minds. Currently serving a 6-year term in California State Prison Solano, Black Book's lyrics have become more in depth. He is currently producing music and other artists in the prison system and doing shows while inside. He has written three new novels, one in which a new Black Super Hero is being introduced fighting supernatural villains in the bay. He also has a new upcoming album entitled Takin Hip Hop Back, one of three albums co-produced with Rick "Nice" King AKA Maestro from Virginia who is also Blackbook's Choir Director and music teacher. Working in ministry under Bishop Ann Carson Ambers is his new passion in co-service with Dr. L. Pittman serving Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the artistic team has started a prison newsletter called the Law of Faith Ministries which has been sent out to several prisons in Georgia, Texas, and California. An example of which is found in the blog entitled "Hey Playa You Hella Weird". Our purpose is to reach the lost and broken hearted "For if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart He was raised from the dead he shall be saved." (Rom 10:8-9). Listen yall, just like I told Murder Dog Magazine "It is time for hip hop to take its rightful position in America as a tool to teach and shape the country with consciousness; not just gold teeth, females and gansta’s. Back east, Kurtis Blow is liftin’ up the Lord with Holy Hip Hop. That’s how I envision myself on the west coast. After 6 years with 85%, I’ll have 10 years total prison time in CDC. I’ve been to the pen 7 times. Now it’s time for Christ to take over. Cats wanted to kill me, I was on crack, beating women and blowin’ big dough. Now I know my calling and purpose. I got two new albums done while locked up in collaboration with Rick (Nice) King, AKA Maestro from Virginia, and I can’t believe God opened the door to make tracks while here, honestly. But all things are possible to those who believe. I know I got the same raw flow I had when I was thuggin’ in Fillmoe and E.P.A., now I’ll be able to touch gansta’s and the pulpit with what God has given me. Pac said he wondered if Heaven got a ghetto – it’s time for the ghetto to know that God can bring the ghetto to Heaven.

Is THIS the type of conduct that is JUSTIFIABLE during a pursuit of a CHILD? Why wouldn’t a TRAINED PROFESSIONAL aim LOW as an attempt to disable ANY suspect, instead of a HEADSHOT? My son almost DIED!! BOTH officers are on “ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE”… WHY should the officer get at PAID VACATION for shooting a CHILD? If it was “YOU or ME”, society would have NO MERCY! NOR WOULD THE OAKLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT…”JAIL” would’ve become HOME for US?... and it SHOULD BE for the officer that attempted to take the life of my son. Thank you for taking time to listen to MY SON’s story… PLEASE keep him in your prayers.
