A lyricist with a unique vocal ability from Oakland California. Born March the 16th 1983 as Paul Kalvin Jamil Dunn to Jill Holly White and Paul Edward Dunn.
From an early age his ability to sing was recognized in a small church setting and hibernated overlooked as “Something to Pursue.”
His untrained singing naturally sat between that of a lead singer and a backing vocalist until this day.
The rapping style followed the path of a laid back stature but wasn’t actually uncovered until he was 20 years old and in the military, which is when his whole life changed course. He ended up in Australia on October 8, 2004 for family reasons and never left.
“I credit my career to Australia because this is where I found the microphone! I credit my style to California because that’s where I was seasoned! Now I am ready for the journey…”
Over his time here, he developed a dual musical personality that created a mix between his singing and rapping. This combination had P-Zo labelled as the “Rapper with a Twist’ in the News Weekly Magazine of August ’06. From achieving a top 40 position in Australian Idol 2006 as Paul Dunn, followers have accepted the brilliance in his style.
Writing all of his own music until now, wordplay was said to be the main focal point as the lyricist and hit song writing as the singer.
“To me music is about how it sounds, so I keen in on finding that Hot Sound formula.”
The weaknesses are few and fixable with the 24 year old, and that adds points on to the hierarchy of other awesome discoveries within this artiste’s persona.
“There is a lot more for me to do before I could realistically believe I’ve peaked, but I am ambitious about my dreams so challenge is my fuel!”
The to-do list is adding up career wise. A few things on that Christmas gift list include vocal arrangement training, site reading, and an instrument to illuminate his appeal when singing… Also included are choreography and fitness coaching for enhanced stage performances. Though the to-do could go on and on, P-Zo has wisely chosen things that will enhance his ability rather than items that aren’t measurable. As testament to this, P-Zo is working with world renowned coach Seth Riggs to enhance his singing ability.
Being in the recording industry for only 3 years, the US import has made some tremendous progress thus far without industry assistance. P-Zos drive and motivation stems from a heavy dream of owning an Entertainment empire while doing what he loves and securing his family financially. This youngster is one which will create a long legacy that remembers him for helping others overcome mighty challenges to succeed in life.

As you may or may not know, Keyshia Cole is a hot new Platinum Artist from Oakland California. I am doing all out campaining to get her here in 2008 by popular Demand!
Not only do I want to see her but 1000s of her fans want to see her too. The last time she came to AU she only stopped in Melbourne with the Kanye West tour. We know that not many artist know about Perth and therefore we get the short end of the stick when the majors do their rounds. Some Artists have recently discovered P-City (Perth) and absolutely love it. So we demand more entertainment!
