Who Is Sky K.
What it do? The name's Sky K. n thanks for hittin up my page. I'm what you would call a sophisticathug, certified street but sweet. I'm a chill, down to Earth dude but ya never wanna rub me the wrong way. I like to get my drink on, BS, do my music thing and just relax and if ya see a Black American sittin at the bar, hit a brotha up cuz 9 times outta 10 it's gonna be yours truly.
Who I Respect
People in the industry I got crazy respect for include Timbaland, Missy, Fox n Kim, my boy Nas, Marvin Gaye, Prince, Billy Holiday, Slick Rick, my hummingbird Tweet, Ciara, NIN, Busta, Method, my girl LB that some of ya'll know as Lauryn Hill, and Kelis to name a few. I like artist who can bring somethin new to their craft and have a set apart sound so you don't feel like ya listening to the same three tracks on repeat.
Sky K.'s Philosophy
My philosophy is simple: Be You Whomever It Be You Is
I figure too many people tend to be remakes of another person, so if you're in the game do it as you and don't do it as a rip off. It's good to have artists you look up to and respect but just don't duplicate yaself to be'm. Only when you can master bein yaself can ya really call yourself creative.
What Does Sky K. Stand For
I believe strongly in integrity n not getting caught up in a box. I figure if you do something you can't go 3/4th in and hold back 1/4th at the door cuz of what people might say or think. If you live ya life for other folk you ain't really living ya life. That's a lesson my bro Free taught me n it's my way of life. I figure love me or hate me I'M STILL HERE and ain't nobody rentin space in my head unless their payin the bills.

Closing Thoughts
To the many of ya'll out there who have shown so much support, I just wanna say thanks. I do what I do cuz I am what I do and what I do likes me, therefore I do it. If you were to ask me, who is Sky K., I'm ya typical dude just havin some fun. I'm a guy that's been there done that with a lof of things and that's why I'm calling the album "Unbreakable." The songs are about me, my path, my struggles, and the things I've seen. So check it out, let me know what ya think, and thanks for hittin up my page.
