Flips n Face are a Collaborative hip hop group from the city of Melbourne. Formed towards the later half of 2006. Flips n Face are apart of a crew alliance called 7 degree. Also in that crew is another very talented hip hop artist d.d.face n flipsThe hip hop style that is created by these artists is different from the usual straight up hip hop. Hip hop for us is a medium to express our thoughts, life, opinion, and creativity. This is different from various other artists that buy and portray an image that is a fabrication and not real. This is an insult to those who are real hip hop artists, the culture of hip hop, and ultimitely the whole 7 degree crew/fam.d.dWord up to hip hop in Melbourne and other states around the country. Support local artists and show respect to those who deserve, whether their style of hip hop is to your taste or not, real is real so respect it. Only fakers are the ones that hate, because if ya real, you would respect it. Violence and beefs only begets more violence and beefs. So think about what your tryin to prove because one day you will come across the real deal.With that being said though, 7 degree will protect every element of their hip hop creation. So let it be known that, anyone that wants to hinder that process that they are establishing (along with associated crews/fam) take a deep breath, step back and walk away, cause our crew will not lay down to any wannabe individuals or crews that, think they don't have to answer to their mouth flapping ignorant views while they perform without one moment of entertainment, because they are to busy blowing themselves on stage. Just beacuse you watch Scarface doesn't mean you're Tony Montana and furthermore you are the ones that destroy the credibility of hip hop and stunt the evolution of this culture. Said once and once only, stay out of the face of 7 degree unless you real and doin ya thing as opposed to forever talking about it.The whole crew and fam, are set out to achieve great things and would rather focus on real issues that surround and impact our lives and others, as opposed to wasting energy on barbie doll crews.Hip Hop is comin up in this country cause so many hip hop crews and artists from Australia have so much more to say and from our experience want to work towards change in various areas instead of spitting lyrics constantly about nothing.Think about this: Anyone can create a hip hop track. But not everyone is a true hip hop artist.
