About Me

"If prince was still making great records, that's the kind of great record I wish he was still making..."
TOM ROBINSON (BBC6 MUSIC)
“These guys are gonna be huge”
DUFFY
“Out of the whole ITC list, this was the only band that made me stop what I was doing and listen! I am such a sucker for this stuff! Loving it”
DEBS WILD (A & R Epitaph/Anti Records)
“I was flipping impressed by their tight musicianship and catchy tunes”
DJ YODA
Kojo first appeared on the London Music scene in August 2007 and after just 2 months of playing gigs including a residency at Notting Hill Arts Club and a couple of support slots with Sugababes they were invited to play at Manchester's In The City (an industry event designed to showcase the best unsigned talent in the UK and beyond).
Their gig was well attended following a Record of the Day showcasing they're track Intergalactelectronic Music, which got several labels and publishers eagerly following their progress.
Since then Kojo have been busy recording material for their debut album with their unique blend of Funk Rock Electro Pop. They now have Nokia Sponsorship through The Royal Artist Club alongside Lethal Bizzle , Westwood and Gallows .
The band have really honed both their own unique sound and their astonishing performance and with some very strong new material, expect big things from Kojo in 2008.
