Jagger has made it his task to express this knowledge by rhymes and poetries. He felt magically attracted by this form of expression in the time as Hip Hop has not been present as it is now. In the late eighties the foundation for a long lasting musical cooperation and friendship has been laid. That time you could not buy a Hip Hop outfit in the shop just around the corner and so you could easily recognize who was also infected by this fever. Just remember that it has really been a big expenditure to get stuff like sneakers, caps and jackets. Good old days...
Somebody who has made this expenditure was the DJ and todays producer RA and so Jaggers and his meeting has been a foregone conclusion. Their aim was to make their own qualitative convincing music and many years of apprentice- ship should follow. The circle of like-minded grew. Grand joined "the circle of chosen ones", so he was an enrichment for the group. From now on they collected by the name SONZ experiences on jams and in the studios. In spite of a growing demand for their music the SONZ could not decide till 1996 to publish three of their songs on a Hip hop sampler. (Hip Hop Rendezvous, V.O.C. Records). After this project they considered to deepen the existing impressions and experiences by investing in studio techniques and rooms. Time will tell
RA and Grand founded the production group OBBO. Grand wanted to concentrate his energy on producing what meant the end of the SONZ but not the end of music it was just a further step on their way to their common aim. Now, Jagger had to learn filling songs on his own. Through personally experiences, as the dead of his mum and his grandparents during a short period, he learnt to express and to digest his feelings by his own song texts and he started understanding what is really important in life. To accept things as they are and to act according to the sometimes forgotten Hip hop motto Love, Peace and Unity...
