I am basically a crossover artist, feeling like belonging to Hip-Hop because the link between all the arts I practice is the street ; independence, underground resistance; integrity, what they call "authenticity".... If I performing in so many different ways, it's not for money - then I would have chosen politics or artistic director in a major company -, but only because I deeply love music and writing, and don't want to be limited by a market or a style.
My beginnings were Afro-cuban percussion in the parisian subway in 1984, and then almost by chance, I felt into Jazz singing, then background vocals, mostly in many Reggae bands, with Daddy Yod for example (the famous "Faut pas taper la doudou" hit). Then in 91, it's the Raggamufin movement calling, and I start perform in Sound Systems, where Puppa Leslie hire me in his sound Ghetto Activité, and train me as a lead singer and Mc. Then, I settle down the biggest french female sound system ever, the Sound Sisters, and am invited by many colleagues. it's the golden age of Peniche Rubis, Espace des Peupliers.....
In 94, I start working on Gospel, then discover Mary J Blige, wich makes me fall in love with Hip-Hop Soul, then Hip-Hop.....
In 2000, is my begin to rap, and then in 2004, to slam.
After a comedy workshop at the Théatre de la Main d'Or, I'm getting in touch with Stand Up, write and perform a few sketches on the parisian open stages.
On stage or in studio, I have sang with Jamalski, Bernard Lavilliers, Les Nubians, Dee Nasty, 2Bal/2Neg, Naughty By Nature, Big Red; Keziah Jones, Rico Rodriguez from the Skatalites, The Mystic Revelations of Rastafari, Kéry James, K-Reen.....
