About Me

"So whatcha got against me? The flow knocks to the fence, you heard better? well homie gotta convince me..." It's this type of confidence that many admire, and the same that just as many hate. Born and raised in the state of Virginia, Fluid found he had the gift of gab at the young age of 11. "I was always rhyme-minded. It wasn't until a class assignment, however, when I noticed how amazed my english teacher was my level of writing. It was then that I knew I was meant for something...different." He found rapping to be a generally easy hobby to get into, getting into rhyme sessions in the neighborhood, school, on the bus and wherever else anyone was down. Living a generally drama free lifestyle ("I was always at least two steps of whoever was trying to get at me"), he focused on stockpiling music for the future. He ran into an obstacle though, there were no producers in his area. Growing tired of instrumentals that, in his words "everybody and their parents put 16 on," he decided to take a swing at producing tracks for himself. Turns out, he had a gift for hearing good music too. Transforming into one of the few Artist/Producers in the game, Fluid set out to begin a career in rapping. His water-like flow ex. "Fluid" and witty wordplay has gotten him recognition from various places in the U.S. In an almost braggadocious manner, he takes control of the music that he sets himself before; seeming to effortlessly put together songs with the motive of captivating his audience in ways none before have accomplished. A journey is not without its setbacks, though, as Fluid has had to endure many on his path to where he stands today. But, "That's the reason I make music for you to hear...if I told you all of it now, what reason would you have to listen to the album?"
