[email protected] D. Thomas, aka, Smiley-D. Smiley-D was born in Oklahoma City, Ok. Born on March 9th 1988. Smiley-D was raised in Oklahoma City and at the age of 12 he relocated to Bremerton, WA, the home of NBA Player Marvin Williams. Smiley-D started his music career at the age of 12, by writing lyrics and recording his music on cassette tapes. Smiley-D graduated from Olympic High School in Bremerton WA. After graduating from High School, he moved back to Oklahoma City where he later began to launch his music career.Smiley-D started his mix-tape recording at Master Minds Production Studio. He dropped his debut album titled, "Young In The Game", in Spring of 2008. Smiley-D is in the process of dropping his first mix tape, titled "Hood Protégé". At the present time, Smiley-D is working on his new album titled: "Like No Other" scheduled to be released in 2009. This album features hits like Lookin' Roun, which should climb to the top ten singles of the underground music world. Smiley-D has also performed at local night clubs in Oklahoma City and is presently working on an opening act for Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs and Harmony, this contract is still in the making. He has recently performed his first big venue on June 29th 2008 at the Bricktown Ball Room where he electrified the crowd.Artists that has influenced him in his music career are B.G., Nas, Scarface, and Jay-Z. Not to mention his parents and his favorite uncle C-Dog of Seattle WA. · Smiley-D is presently apart of the Rap Group K.O.P. (Killaz On Payroll) Commission which includes artists Buggsy Brown, Eddy Sarcastic and Kenny Mac. He records at Underground Sound Production Studios and Bomb City Media.Smiley-D is presently working full time on his music career and hopes to become another great artist that flourishes out of Oklahoma City, Artists like, Nitro, Garth Brooks and the home of Kanye's West Mother, Blessing to the Creator's Child, May she rest in peace.
