A dynamic speaker with experience driving global citizenship, community outreach, and creativity in business initiatives, she specializes in cross-cultural communications, enhancing global team performance, effective virtual teams, building trust and authentic relationships, employee relations, and survey analysis and program design.With a stellar background with hp/Agilent Technologies, she is consistently sought to lead and evangelize unique corporate and community collaborations and programs. Currently, she is an advisor for the Level Playing Field Institute, a non-profit organization that promotes innovative approaches to fairness in higher education and an associate with Aperian Global's Global Inclusion business. She is also Founder, President, Executive Consultant and Coach for Corporate Creative Solutions.Lakiba is a minister on the staff of Law of Faith Ministries. and serves on the Board of Redeemed Records, and Faith Built Productions and is an editor of the monthly newsletter along with Evangelist Don (Mega) Sanders.Dedicated to the community, Lakiba is a woman of action, serving in numerous capacities in the community. She recently served as Board Secretary of the Girl's Club of the MidPeninsula in E. Palo Alto; Chair and member of the Human Relations Commission of Palo Alto, Chair of The RISE Youth and Mentoring Program, Chair of Leadership Midpeninsula, Vice-Chair of the Hidden Villa Board where 1600 acres are held in trust, dedicated to the environment, sustainability and multiculturalism and advisor to Girls for a Change and Upwardly Global. Lakiba is also a graduate of the Palo Alto Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy and a current member of the Women of Color Action Network (WCAN) , the Black Recruiter’s Network (BRN), the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) and the National Association of African Americans in HR (NAAAHR).Lakiba holds a bachelor’s degree in Creative Arts from San Jose State University, a master’s degree in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco, and an honorary Doctor of Ministry from Bell Grove Theological Seminary. She’s a graduate of UCLA’s Anderson School of Business executive education program and a certified trainer for Stanford University’s “Creativity in Business†workshops under Professor Michael Ray. Lakiba will be pursuing a doctorate in Organizational Systems, beginning Fall 2007.Lakiba is a certified hynotherapist, singer/songwriter and writer.
