About Me

As founding members of Melbourne crew ILL FLOW AFFILIATION (I.F.A.), Weapon X (Xavier Millis) and Ken Hell (Daivin Verduci) have spent the better part of a decade in the trenches of Australia's Hip-Hop scene. Through the forming of the Battletown crew and eventual departure, Weapon X's tenure as co-frontman for live band Fizard, and the subsequent grind to be recognised as a group on a National scale, these mofo's KNOW their craft.
Rocketing out of the underground with the breakthrough single 'Otherman' in May of 2005, the group began touring Australia extensively along with newly crowned IFA DJ, A-Style. With world-class production courtesy of Weapon X, unrivalled wordplay, addictive hooks and a refreshing sense of humour under their arm, the duo's debut long player was released to rave reviews and the title track 'Sneakerpimpin Aint Easy' proved the groups previous radio success was no fluke. The group recieved a 'Best Urban Release' Aria Nomination in 2005 for their debut single, and another in 2006 for their debut album.
Whilst leading the charge into new territory for local Hip-Hop along with a handful of other acts, the IFA kept one foot in the trenches cultivating the mixtape culture which has since become a huge part of the underground AND burgeoning commercial scene. Through their Scar-Non Mixtape Series (which gave birth Ken Hell's hilarious Take It Easy Heezy character) the crew have set the standard for Mixtapes in Australia and as the U.S. have done for years, they have used this as a tool to launch new artists from their extended family.
