The Frequency will be serving up a wide variety of live music in downtown Madison starting June 5, 2008. Shows will be limited to Thursday through Saturday as we catch our groove.
In the fall we intend to have more shows featuring local, regional, national and international acts. There will be other things such as dart league, pool league, service industry night and other special events. Open jams, new band nights, many different ideas in the works!
The drinks will be tasty (as well as reasonably priced) and served by friendly, professional staff. Snacks including hot pretzels, frozen pizzas , chips and other confections will be made available. The atmosphere will be comfy and include a "retro" cd jukebox.

2) I like getting CDs from bands, we intend to include touring acts on our jukebox so please send them to the club, Attn: Darwin
3) I do not have the Under 21 License as of yet, so all shows will be 21 + until I acquire it. Do not ask if I can do 18 + or all ages because I cannot until I get this license, please be patient. I intend to do so.
4) Weekends only until fall - summers are brutal for indoor live music. Trust me, you'll do better coming when the students are here.
5) Be patient. We're really busy here and if I don't get back to you right away it's solely for that reason.
We're looking forward to opening and providing a stable 99 capacity live music room in downtown Madison for years to come!
