About Me

Born knee deep in Mississippi mud just off the levees of St. Louis, Missouri, Steven was raised in a Show Business family. He has been around and participated in many different aspects of the Entertainment Industry his whole life, including working for different Theatrical Stage Productions, Concert and Stage Lighting, Live Sound, a Grip for several major films, Studio Engineer, as well as a touring and studio musician. "I got my first taste of recording at 17 using Chuck Berry's original converted 4 track recording deck. I was even in one of the original Fleetwood Mac videos for MTV." Bliss says, "I've always had a deep sense of destiny and God's calling on my life. If I feel I'm supposed to do something I pursue it with reckless abandon". As a professional songwriter and producer living just outside Nashville, Steven has had many cuts in Country Music with the likes of Confederate Railroad, Kathy Mattea, Michael Peterson and Sherrie Austin, as well as placements in both Film and Television including songs in the 2006 release of Ashley Judd's new film "Come Early Morning". In 2004 Steven co-wrote and produced with hit Rock singer-songwriter Robert Tepper the CD "Some Days Are Better Than Others" for their project, theTumbleweeds. The CD was mixed in Los Angeles by the amazing Steve Marcantonio. Their twenty-year friendship and unique combination of special talents create a powerful writing and production team for both the Recording Industry, as well as Film and Television.
