I am the proud father of two awesome daughters. Apart from that, not much to write home about... But I do get to play with some great people, including Emmylou Harris, Buddy Miller and the world-class musicians of Nashville Tennessee, not to mention a few others from the States, and the UK, and wherever Brady Blade is hanging his hat.
I write with some wonderful people as well- Merrill Farnsworth, Jimmie Lee Sloas, Kim Carnes, Wayne Kirkpatrick, The Warren Brothers, Matraca Berg, Lynn Nichols... it's a mighty long list, hoss. My music is currently published by Warner~Chappell, and I am enjoying working with those fine folks.
Spring 2008, I'll join up with Emmylou's band for a US and Europe romp, looking forward to some great wines and beers across the pond, and some good BBQ within the US.
Production credits include~ Keb' Mo' "Follow Me Up", Greg Trooper (2 cds), Brooks Williams, The Electrics, Sammy Horner, Jill Paquette (we won a Juno award~ the Canadian Grammy), James Clay, Maeve, Rich Mullins, Phil Keaggy, and Owen Temple.
Writing credits include The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Alison Krauss, Bruce Hornsby, Ricky Skaggs, Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, and many more.
Performance credits~ Elvis Costello, Patty Griffin, Dave Matthews, Rodney Crowell, Lari White, Sixpence None The Richer, Boz Skaggs, Al Green, Buddy Miller, Emmylou, Alison Moorer, Leann Womack, and The Woodthieves.
I love my life, and am grateful to get to play with some of the best musicians in the world.
Have a lovely day!
