BEFORE YOU READ ON: MYSPACE TO ME IS ABOUT MEETING ARTISTS, GENUINE FRIENDS AND MY FAVOURITE MUSIC. I DON'T COLLECT PEOPLE OR ADD THEM TO RANK FOR SOCIAL STATURE. BUSINESS IN ANY COMMENT OR ADD WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. FRIEND AND BAND REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT SOMETHING PERSONAL WRITTEN.
dear myspace freaks,
here's a few things about me so you have some concept of the woman behind this page. it's come to my attention i've had almost 5,000 visits in under 8 weeks. i have no idea why as i only accept a few friends when i have time to read everything. i mainly keep this page for bands, musical interests and those associated in that arena that communicate with me via email or messaging. i'm 34 this year, tiger/gemini, i am a full-time graphic/web designer (for 12 years), i study violin at night for the AME, i play acoustic guitar, i sing, i've travelled japan, london, belgium, paris and all of australia (ex darwin), i've lived half my adult life in melbourne (10 years) and have moved home to south australia (where i was born) to chill the fuck out. most of the people i know i have met in real life and i don't need myspace to make friends or use it for travelling whoredom. i am friendly, outgoing and i am certainly not possessive with anything. my house is your house and i'm open to almost everything. if you have top dog insecurities, ill be leaving you with that. i despise animal cruelty, aggressive people and deliberately contrived image monkeys (i used to have holes in my fishnet stockings because they were old... not new ones with holes cut into them). i'm eternally single as i believe in autonomy, i don't enjoy socialising in cliques, groups, clubs or bars, have done, never got anything out of it. if things happen and change, i change with it and embrace what's next. some might think that's unusual or many other things, i like to think it's experiencing as much about life and different people as possible. i've also been a dancer for 3 years (inc paris), i've experienced enough night life to satisfy my curiosity and am assured, there's nothing mysterious about the dark even though i do enjoy this genre of music. i pride myself on making the effort to write to everyone but i don't keep fence sitters or people that don't reciprocate that. i am not perfect, i never said i was, but if you push me for a reaction, you won't get one because i'll think you're a fool. it's that simple. i live in a remote area due to my distain for city scum, i have a cat called hollywood and most of my phonecalls are international, interstate or not at all. i will tell you anything you would like to know about myself if you ask me and i give everyone a chance to have their say about whatever you want to talk about - but i do not enjoy repetitive conversation or if i have to repeat myself more than once. i am big on detailed information and i have a photographic memory. i am an artist (BA visual art), a writer, performer, ex-band manager, i love being close to nature as well as being indoors rehearsing or eating. there's not much i haven't done, but i have made it out alive and i aim to age gracefully - i'd like to think so! musically, i am interested in all kinds from classical, darkwave, ethereal pop, rock, electro, folk and anything that could range from led zepp to vivaldi. i have been listening to the cure since i was 12, they are my favourite all time band, get used to it. if any of this is unclear as to the reasons why i do the things i do, please ask and i'm sure i can provide the answers you're looking for should you feel the need to persist. thanks for visiting and listening to my tunes. if you would like a copy of my CD please send me a message and i'm happy to post you one.

And 'tis a pain that pain to miss;
But of all pains, the greatest pain.
It is to love, but love in vain."
