The Feeble Church is the creation of two individuals, Humwawa and Lindeah Delah. They met at college in Ghent (Belgium) during the mid 90's. Their mutual interest in art, movies, music, architecture and all things beautiful eventually led to their most profound passion, the love for each other. Both of them had been developping their skills from an early age on. Lindeah had been drawing her fantasies since childhood, while Humwawa tried to hum his first musical ideas before the age of 10. Both of them were self-taught, as this was in their opinion the only way to maintain some originality in the work. Manuals and tutors would only have driven them further away from their imagination.Once Lindeah and Humwawa had met, their discontent with today's society and its daily rat race, soon had some creative outlets. Some predecessors of The Feeble Church were obscurely named 'Hymns From Hell' and 'Murmur'. Nevertheless, these projects were nothing more than fooling around with sounds and sketches for their own amusement. In 2007 however, they decided to take the music and artwork out of the comfort zone of home and share it with those interested. The first result is the demo "Tales of Mockery and Disease" and is released in early 2008 (see blog for further details). It's a collection of instrumental songs from the past decade accompanied by a few drawings from Lindeah. The absence of lyrics on the music is intentional, as it reflects the meaning of The Feeble Church, namely 'The Church with no God nor word".
