About Me

Stefano Dighero started making music in the 80s, when he founded a group inspired by the New Wave electronic movement (Ultravox, Simple Minds, Human League, Japan,...). The group had some gigs in Genoa for a couple of years and then split up. Stefano is now working on his own musical project, creating instrumental music and combining several styles and influences. Its main musical inspirations and models come from the work of Peter Gabriel, Talking Heads, the work of Eno/Byrne in My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, King Crimson (and related "solo" projects), Bill Laswell and Material, as well as the many big players in the electronic music scene (Massive Attack, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Groove Armada, Dzihan & Kamien, Joi, Thievery Corporation and many others). His musical style is mainly a mixture of electronic, ambient and rock music, combined sometimes with ethnic and jazzy, funky flavours.
