ANAFAE: The Premise:

If Mother Nature walked the earth...
What would she see?
What would she do?

Anafae is Mother Nature incarnate, emerging from the earth as a strange Otherworldy Woman in this powerful new graphic novel series.

In a future Dark Age, a global plague threatens all life on the planet, and Anafae takes to the Earth, Sky and Sea to learn what has happened to her realm. Wherever Anafae is seen, things seem to magically grow again, people begin to heal, and life returns anew. But for how long?

Accompanied by Fauz Fenris, her guardian canine companion, it is up to Her to decide whether She will bring the earth back into Natural Order.

Book One introduces us to Anna Mante, the beautiful exiled writer and philosopher, who is rumored to be a powerful witch. Sold by her government to a ruthless dictator who holds women in contempt, Anna may be the only person on earth to know how to fight the plague.

Meanwhile, Anafae travels to Rock Mount City, the former headquarters of GenetiBioCorp, an evil corporation that conceals within its ruins many dark and terrible secrets. There Anafae finds one possible survivor, Allaine, a genetically engineered man-child, and his 'big sister', a robot cat. Together they begin to unravel the mystery of the dying planet...

Expanded from an original short story, "Anafae" is the new series created By Monica Richards, and illustrated by Monica Richards and James Neely .
