Well hello and thanks for visiting my MySpace page! I am currently stuck in Iowa and trying to find a way back to the Chicago area, where I am originally from. I came to Iowa 5 years ago to work for a company that makes off-air TV antennas and satellite dishes. There, I become very interested in HDTV, digital media, in-home networking. So, I have found a new passion to become a designer and eventually project manager of "smart home" networks and systems. Over the next few months as I work my way back, well, this will be quite a story to blog about, especially since I have become acquainted with some very interesting people lately.
While I may consider myself a traditionalist, I am always fascinated by new things, ideas, styles, and technologies, and so I probably have been diversifying myself in interests over the years. Which brings me to MySpace, there are so many interesting people out there, including the ones I know in the real world, and with some patience and caring I like to listen and let people express themselves.
I do tend to have a sardonic wit, but I also do like to consider the interests and opinions of others, and I guess to a fault I take time supporting others more than myself. I look forward to sharing a few little bits and discoveries and my life on a video journal that I add once a week, putting it together on my Media Center PC. You can subscribe to my blog to let you know when a new entry is uploaded, then, go to my profile page and watch the clips in the "General" area of this page!
From the friends on here already, I know people with a wide variety of interests. Thanks to MySpace I can easily see what they are up to in one or two clicks instead of waiting for a Website to update. I've also been using this site for what I think it was originally intended for, meeting and hearing great musical artists, discovered quite a lot of untapped talent here, and worth a listen! So I guess you can tell I like music. One of my hobbies is playing the flute, been practicing since the 4th grade. But for the most part, I am really into pop culture, and I enjoy blogging about it as well as the parties, events, and ocassional getaways I attend to have fun and support my friends.
