About Me

FREEDOM*** HOPE *** FAITH *** LOVE *** LOYALTY TO COUNTRY!
Most important saying on this page is: "FREEDOM IS THE RIGHT TO TELL PEOPLE WHAT THEY DO NOT WANT TO HEAR." George Orwell
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Suess
A persons Wisdom & Beauty are not limited to Fame or prominance over others. Wisdom is sometimes forged out of the fires of a life full of pain and suffering that a person of fame or prominence could learn from. Beauty is often unreal, conditional. illusive, tenuous and at its best seen through the eyes of the child we all can acknowledge within us. Wisdom plus beauty equals hope. "If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live a life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours"-Henry David Thoreau
"The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate. So it goes. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
Dr. Martin Luther King
"Never forget your roots. Niether let them pull you down or be the main reason for rising. You decide what direction to take because of a free will which is your birth right given to you by your creator" (a thought not to be considered equal to the other famous quotes here. But I hope it touches those that read it) Paulina Franz

A belief in God and an identification with an organized religion are widespread throughout the country, according to the latest NEWSWEEK poll. Nine in 10 (91 percent) of American adults say they believe in God and almost as many (87 percent) say they identify with a specific religion. Christians far outnumber members of any other faith in the country, with 82 percent of the poll's respondents identifying themselves as such. Another 5 percent say they follow a non-Christian faith, such as Judaism or Islam. Nearly half (48 percent) of the public rejects the scientific theory of evolution; one-third (34 percent) of college graduates say they accept the Biblical account of creation as fact. Seventy-three percent of Evangelical Protestants say they believe that God created humans in their present form within the last 10,000 years; 39 percent of non-Evangelical Protestants and 41 percent of Catholics agree with that view.

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power. Abraham Lincoln ..

Children
Children are like kites, you spend a lifetimetrying to get them off the ground.
You runwith them until you are both breathless.
When they crash you add a longer tail.
Theyhit a rooftop you pick them up and comfortthem.
You watched them get picked up by thewind.
You assure them that they will somedayfly. Finally they get airborn.
They need morestring and you keep letting it out, with eachtwist of the ball of twine.
There is asadness that goes with the joy.
As the kitebecomes more distant you somehow know thatthe lifeline that held you together
willsnap, to soar as it was meant tosoar......
free and alone.
A little girl, so all alone Sat crying, so forlorn Her little dog had ran away Her heart was broken and tornA little boy, the same age as she Asked her why she cried She looked up, with tear-stained cheeks Her pain she could not hideShe told him of her little dog That she just loved so well And how he'd ran away from her To where she couldn't tellShe said she'd called his name outloud But he did not come back She'd told her mommy and her dad About her doggy, JackShe'd asked if they would help her find The little dog she loved But they were much too busy again So she prayed to God aboveShe asked if He would help her, please For Jack was all she had He loved her unconditionally Not like her mom and dadThe little boy dropped down his head His bare foot kicked a stone He said his dad had went away His mom leaves him all aloneThe little girl looked up at him Said it sounded like he was the one An angel had said she'd meet a friend And soon her trials would be doneThe angel had said that the friend and she Would find her little stray And as they gathered him close to them God would lead the wayShe didn't know exactly what that meant She just knew angels never lied So with trust she held out her hand to him Her smile growing wideThe little boy then took her hand And they ran off down the street They stopped and questioned everyone That they chanced to meetAs they rounded a corner, they spotted Jack In the street where he'd been struck They ran out and gathered him close to them They didn't see the truckTwo angels and a little dog Abandoned here on earth Were taken home by God that day And given a brand new birth.

A Comment on this to my friends from PAULINA
Don't take life for granted Give everyone you meet A chance to feel good And don't do what my brother did At the age of 17 he took his own life And never had the chance To give love back To his own little angel.
TRUE LOVE IS....
A beautiful writing I got from a myspace friend!
Tomorrow morning if you wake up and the sun does not appear I will be here If in the dark, we lose sight of love Hold my hand, and have no fear 'Cause I will be here I will be here When you feel like being quiet When you need to speak your mind I will listen And I will be here When the laughter turns to cryin' Through the winning, losing and trying We'll be together I will be here Tomorrow morning, if you wake up And the future is unclear I will be here Just as sure as seasons were made for change Our lifetimes were made for these years So I will be here I will be here And you can cry on my shoulder When the mirror tells us we're older I will hold you And I will be here To watch you grow in beauty And tell you all the things you are to me I will be here I will be true to the promise I have made To you and to the One who gave you to me Tomorrow morning, if you wake up And the sun does not appear I will be here Oh, I will be here.
WHEN YOU ARE IN A TRUELY LOVING RELATIONSHIP IT LOOKS LIKE THIS!
IF A MAN WANTS YOU nothing can keep him away. If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay. Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior.Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache. Stop trying to change yourselves for a relationship that's not meant to be. Slower is better. Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy. If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve then heck no, you can't "be friends." A friend wouldn't mistreat a friend.Don't settle. If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is. Don't stay because you think "it will get better." You'll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better. The only person you can control in a relationship is you.Always have your own set of friends separate from his. Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you. If something bothers you, speak up.Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later. You cannot change a man's behavior. Change comes from within.Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are...even if he has more education or in a better job. Do not make him into a quasi-god. He is a man, nothing more nothing less.Never let a man define who you are. Never borrow someone else's man. Oh Lord! If he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you. A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you.All men are NOT dogs. You should not be the one doing all the bending...compromise is a two-way street. You need time to heal between relationships...there is nothing cute about baggage... deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationshipYou should never look for someone to COMPLETE you...a relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals...look for someone complimentary...not supplementary.Dating is fun...even if he doesn't turn out to be Mr. Right. Make him miss you sometimes...when a man always know where you are, and your always readily available to him- he takes it for granted.Don't fully commit to a man who doesn't give you everything that you need. Keep him in your radar but get to know others.Share this with other ladies..... You'll make someone SMILE, another RETHINK her choices, and another woman PREPARE.They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them and an entire lifetime to forget them.
THE WAY I WALK MY PERSONAL PATH REFLECTED IN A ROBERT FROST POEM
The Road Not Taken Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that, the passing there Had worn them really about the same,And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. -Robert Frost

Hope everyone that reads this takes this to heart and not just see it as wimpy flowery! I found it touched me with all the division and violence going on in the world. And in addition my brother who died at 17 was highly intelligent but not emotionally strong. I loved him with every fibre of my being but he taught me alot about how not to be as much as he did about how to be. This may come as a suprise but as a former club dancer and my share of relatioinships with men I am no stranger to lifes ups and downs and the need to be street smart. I thank God for a brain as well as my heart. I almost wish that we all could go back for just a moment and be tiny innocent kids again. Totally oblivious to the negatives this world dishes out and none of us escapes. Then I think we would not take for granted what we have even if what we have at the moment is painful or aggrevating at least we can create hope for ourselves and others. As a performer my misson now is not just to find a label to record in my niche but to use my talents along the way (as my brother would have wanted me to) and help people and causes I believe in. You have your beilefs and I have mine and so what if they are different as long as they are genuine non violent and we separately or jointly try to build bridges not hate and isolation. My brother taught me how ultimately unimportant and mundane most things in life are compared to what is important. Accepting what others do or say is not necessary just let them be themselves if you aren't ment to be friends! I have seen people in my past that hated me and then something miraculous or horrible happened to them or someone they loved and it changed everything. That person contacted me and thanked me for the things I told them one time and we became friends. What is important to you may not be what is important to me but if you are true to yourself and others thats all that counts LOL!
Peace,
PAULINA

***New CD music promotions, podcasts, radio, videos etc. to be announced in 2007***

To singer/songwriter Paulina music is a laybor of love. "Music is multidimentional because the love an artist expresses through each song has the potential to captivate and sometimes change how the listener feels and thinks". To Paulina packaging a talent is as much about drawing from a current pallet of colors as it is painting exploring colors not yet seen about how the artist feels and looks". Her new commercial release will build upon the same "love theme" that her last indie release "Colors Of Love".
With new songs currently being written and co-written and backed by a music team that believes in Paulina she looks forward to the future. The writers she is soliciting are world class and she hopes to reach across demographic lines with a timeless messages with a innovative musical backdrop. "It is my desire to unify people through my projects at a time in history when violence and uncertainty threatens to divide and possibly destry our very exisitance" she says. She believes that we all must set aside the thinking we have had and regroup to a higher conciousness toward each other even though our demographic, religious or politics may differ greatly. Its ok just leave your disagreements at the voting booth because that is where we all still have the power to make real changes. Music is a chance to unify not devide if even for a moment" she says.
Paulina current project has been a culmination of the efforts of her years of preparation and expertise of those that she is lucky enough to have met and others she continues to work with. Her beautiful voice and unique lyric writing capture the many moods and seasons of the human experience.

"When people ask me who and what kind of artist Singer/Songwriter PAULINA is I tell them that she is as hardworking and innovative as the hardest working established artists. Her song lyrics are brilliantly crafted and can capture the innocence or complexity of a subject in a very unique way. PAULINA sings her material with great vocal ability and her stage presense is both sexy and inviting! There's nothing stopping her from using all her musical and visual talents in creating her shows. She is unique in every sense of the word with a sense of humor that is as endearing as it can catch you off guard! I sincerely believe she has star qualities and personality that is already being noticed and will bring her great success into the future." Voice over Talent "Chicago"/Jimmy F 2006

PAULINA has worked with producer Howard Prince from NYC who is a veteran in the business. She wrote all the lyrics and Howard wrote the music for PAULINA's 2006 CD "Colors Of Love". He has been associated with many production projects featuring producer's Bob Brockman (engineer with "Baby Face") and Steve Rosenthal of The Magic Shop, NYC. He has also worked with the likes of Christine Lavin and others. He has received 3 Grammy Awards performing with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.

PAULINA's signature style has received positive reviews with respect to her great range and unique smoky, sexy delivery (see her reviews and fan comments below). She would like to give gratitude to her vocal coach, out of California, Jeannie Deva.

PAULINA's growing fan base gives her continuing encouragement.

"Franz is no neophyte singer.. most will be compelled to catch her live or check out her disc as she harnesses further the unique, smoky, sexy qualities of her voice and backs it with and even bolder sound." Reviewer-Antonio B Johnston 2000

"PAULINA" shows all the signs of a budding Diva. She has stage presence to spare, notably and off-hand manner that suggests singing is a ho-hum activity on the order of brushing her teeth. Reviewer- Craig Schmidt 1999
