My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Ted Bernthal Mikalski Well really this site is about my songs .There is not a band as such My songs are bought to life again by....... The moon song by "Carolyn Sheppard and shave the Monkey." Lady is by the old band "Dumplings And Custard" (Me+Bryan Causton & Carolyn Sheppard)...recorded via the internet. Christie is sung by Penni McLaren Walker, backed and arranged by Bryan Causton. Butterflies and Swallows is a new song and my first protest song . It came out of a song i was wtitting for Kim Wyrd Guy and became mine .I sing it with passion because i am despratally ashamed of what us 60 flower children have done to our great children,I am sorry :-)
Influences: My mother singing i suppose ,that feeling that anything could be put right with a song.Skiffel bands ,rock and roll .All the changes that where going on in the late 50s. But then came the 60s and the singer songwritters,Donovan completely blew my mind away .This was the time i realized that you COULD sing your OWN songs .Of course there where ,and are many influences ,and always will be .Thats about it i think.
